Everything that happens when you’re in our care is intentional. We want you to feel comfortable enough to tell us what is on your mind, understand what we are seeing, and leave feeling confident about your care. Sometimes that means using technology to make things easier, and sometimes it’s as simple as slowing down long enough to have a good conversation.
Knowing You Helps Us Care for You
One of the nice things about seeing you over time is that we get to know more than your dental history. We get to know you. We learn what matters to you, what makes you comfortable, what you would like to accomplish with your smile, and sometimes even what you would rather not do. Those conversations give us context we simply can’t get from an X-ray or an examination of your teeth.
Your goals can change over time too. Something that wasn’t important to you a few years ago may be on your mind now, or your priorities may have shifted as your life has changed. That is why we keep asking questions, even though we already know you.
We Want You to See What We See
You have probably noticed that we like to show you what we’re talking about rather than simply tell you. Digital images and scans allow us to look at your smile together. If everything looks great, we can show you that. If there’s an area we want to keep an eye on, you can see what we’re seeing. Additionally, if we recommend treatment, we can explain why and talk through your options together.
We believe that technology serves you best when it makes your care easier to understand and your experience more comfortable. Digital scanning is a great example because it provides detailed information without relying on conventional impressions. The more you understand about your smile, the easier it is for us to make decisions together.
Comfort Still Matters, Even When You Know Us
Just because you’re familiar with our office doesn’t mean we stop thinking about your comfort. Our Comfort Menu is always available, with amenities like blankets, headphones, warm towels, and more to make your experience in the dentist’s chair a little nicer.
Keep Asking Us Questions
We welcome your questions. You never need to think, “I should probably know this by now.” Dental care can be complicated, circumstances change, and sometimes you simply want us to explain something again. We want you to always feel free to ask.
If you want to know why we’re watching an area, what your options are, or whether something you have noticed is worth worrying about, let’s talk about it. Those conversations are part of your appointment, not an interruption to it.
Your Appointment Is Your Time
Maybe what really makes a dental appointment feel different isn’t any one piece of technology, comfort item, or conversation. It’s knowing that when you’re here, you have our undivided attention. We can catch up, check your smile, talk about anything that has changed, and make sure the care we provide serves your needs and goals.
We appreciate that you continue to trust us with your oral healthcare, and we never want that trust to become something we simply expect. We want you to continue feeling comfortable, supported, and cared for every time you visit.
If it’s time for your next appointment or there is a specific issue you’re concerned about, we would love to see you. Schedule an appointment with us at our office located in Austin, TX, and we will get the chair ready for you.
