Dr. John Babineau
Dr. John Babineau was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Claremont, New Hampshire. His academic journey began at the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Biochemistry. After graduation, Dr. Babineau moved back to Boston to attend dental school, which not only advanced his career but also led him to meet his future wife, Dr. Lori Babineau.
He earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and gained invaluable experience working alongside a faculty member in the Restorative Department. This hands-on mentorship gave Dr. Babineau the expertise to handle complex and challenging dental cases. While his time in Boston enriched him both academically and culturally, Dr. Babineau and his wife eventually decided to relocate to Texas.
In the early 1990s, Dr. Babineau and his wife opened their practice in Austin, TX. Dr. Babineau also operates a dental business focused on helping the Military Reserves and National Guard maintain their dental readiness.
Dr. Babineau is certified with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Associatio
Dr. Lori Byers Babineau
Dr. Lori Babineau, a proud native of Amarillo, Texas, began her journey in dentistry right in the heart of the Lone Star State. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a dedicated member of the Delta Gamma sorority. Eager for new experiences, Dr. Lori ventured to Boston for dental school, where she met her future husband, Dr. John Babineau. She graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with her DMD, enjoying the rich academic and cultural experience that Boston had to offer. However, her love for the warmth and sunshine of Texas eventually brought her back home. Together, she and Dr. John established their practice in the early ’90s and have been proudly serving their community ever since.
Dr. Lori is deeply passionate about providing the best dental care possible. She is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and fully informed about their dental health. Dr. Lori takes pride in creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. She approaches each restoration as a unique work of art, delivering results that reflect her keen attention to detail.
One of Dr. Lori’s greatest passions is clear aligner therapy, which she has been practicing for over 15 years. Certified by Invisalign, she loves helping her patients achieve a healthier bite, healthier gums, and a beautiful smile. As a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and an international study club, she continues to stay at the forefront of clear aligner technology.
Dr. Sharaf
Dr. Sharaf earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in Egypt in 2011. After graduation, he practiced as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for five years before moving to the U.S. In 2016, he attended the University of Southern California, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018. Dr. Sharaf also completed a one-year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at Louisiana State University. During this time, he gained advanced training in complex oral surgery, facial surgery inpatient care, operating room procedures, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Sharaf is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and his local district dental society. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the lake with friends, playing tennis, and flying.
“My mission is to provide expert surgical care of the highest professional standards, while ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for every patient,” he says.
